The official name of this course is the 4 Hour Basic Driver Improvement Course or Traffic Collision Avoidance Course (TCAC).  It's purpose is to provide the State of Florida with proof that you have taken measures to improve your driving skills and correct the reasons why you received your traffic citation (ticket).  

• The Points will be removed from your Driving Record!
• Your Safe Driver Status will be protected!
• Your Auto Insurance Premiums will not increase!
  (unless you caused a traffic accident)

Attention CDL holders! Holders of Commercial Driver's Licenses (CDL) are not eligible to take this course per state statute # 318.14.

This Course combines text and animations to create an online experience that's interesting and interactive. The course will take you about 4 hours to complete and contains 4 chapters, each outlining a different aspect of driving safety. At the end of each chapter you will be required to take a 10-minute break.

You must also take and pass a final exam upon completion of the course. You must score 80 percent or higher on the final exam before your Certificate of Completion will be processed or mailed to you. If you score lower than 80 percent you must retake the final exam. You can re-take the final exam for free!
