The official name of this course is the Senior (Mature) Driver Improvement Course.  It is only for licensed Florida Drivers age 55 or older.  This course will provide you with a guaranteed auto insurance discount from your auto insurance company and it will also improve your driving skills.  Students taking this course receive a mandatory auto insurance discount in accordance with requirements outlined in Florida Statute # 627.0652.  After completing the state approved course, a certificate of completion will be mailed to your home address. It will be your responsibility to provide your certificate to your auto insurance company in order to receive your auto insurance discount.  Discount amounts are substantial, but vary according to Auto Insurance carrier.
